Regensburg - Bavaria - the place where I live
Regensburg
Is a beautiful medivial town, rich of old merchant castles, the world oldest stone bridge and amongst dozens of other churches a wonderful gothic cathedral - St. Peter. Regensburgs roots go back far in history, it's name origins from a roman castle - which remains can still be found on a walk through the city. Even back in the stoneage the place located where the rivers Donau, Regen and Naab meet was already a famouse settlement. But it's not only history you may find in Regensburg - it is too the town with most pubs, bars and restaurants per citizen in Germany and there are a lot of places like theaters, clubs, to ensure your entertainment.

On
the other hand
you will find a busy, modern Regensburg. Companies like Siemens, BMW have big plants around here and there is no lack of shops and offices to find what you need. |
